Update: NASCAR and Charlotte Motor Speedway officials announced that the rain-delayed North Carolina Education Lottery 200 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race will be run at 10 a.m. on Sunday, ahead of the sold-out 67th running of the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Originally scheduled for Friday, persistent rain forced the delay to Saturday. Crews continued to fight wet weather throughout Saturday before announcing the move to Sunday. Corey Day and Layne Riggs will start on the front row when the green flag flies.
Gates will open for Friday ticket holders at 9 a.m. Parking lots will open at 8:30 a.m., and the Speed Street fan zone will open at 10 a.m. At the conclusion of the race, crews will sweep the grandstands and reopen gates for Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 ticket holders at 2:30 p.m. Track Pass access for the Brad Paisley concert and driver introductions will also open at 2:30 p.m. The speedway’s annual Memorial Day weekend Salute the Troops pre-race show honoring the U.S. Armed Forces will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the green flag for the legendary Coca-Cola 600 scheduled just after 6:00 p.m.
Fans from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and 14 foreign countries across five continents will be on hand for the crown jewel event, which is sold out for the fifth consecutive year.
Friday ticket holders who are unable to attend the rescheduled NC Education Lottery 200 should visit the Speedway Motorsports Weather Guarantee at CharlotteMotorSpeedway.com to request a ticket credit toward a future NASCAR race at Charlotte Motor Speedway or another Speedway Motorsports race track.

Original Post (5-22-2026): Persistent rain forced postponement of Friday night’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The race has been rescheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday morning, to be broadcast on FS1, NRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
Friday’s practice and qualifying sessions for the race also were canceled because of inclement weather.
With the field set according to the rule book, Corey Day will start the race from the pole position in the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet. Day is taking the place of Kyle Busch, who died Thursday from a sudden, severe illness.
Busch won the Truck Series race at Dover on May 15—his series record 69th victory. Recognition of his monumental achievements in NASCAR racing and within the community will take place throughout the Memorial Day weekend.
