Beard Motorsports will add another race to its 2026 NASCAR Cup Series schedule with Casey Mears, announcing plans to compete in the June 14 Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway.
The team originally announced in March that Mears would compete in five races during the 2026 season. That schedule was disrupted in April at Talladega Superspeedway when qualifying was canceled because of weather, preventing the No. 62 team from making the field under NASCAR’s qualifying rules.
By adding Pocono, Beard Motorsports will return to its planned five-race schedule with Mears. The additional event is also significant for Mears, as it keeps him on track to make the 500th NASCAR Cup Series start of his career this year.
