Daytona International Speedway announced today that PLATINUM-selling duo LOCASH is set to perform the Coke Zero Sugar 400 Pre-Race Concert. LOCASH will kickstart the festivities prior to the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series regular season finale.
“Bringing LOCASH’s bold country brand to the stage of DAYTONA will add even more energy to the regular season finale as they showcase their Platinum-selling hits and billon-stream success in the infield,” said Frank Kelleher, Daytona International Speedway President. “Their performance will be a perfect lead-in to the waving of the green flag as our drivers duke it out on the high banks to lock in the field for The Chase.”
LOCASH makes feel-good country music with a small-town spirit and a big-time impact. The duo is known for having created their own path in the country music scene with major success in the industry.
Preston Brust and Chris Lucas make up the iconic pair and their newest album, Bet the Farm, features fan favorites like “Hometown Home” (a multi-week No. 1 smash that landed in the Top 5 of Country Aircheck’s “Top 25 Songs of 2025”), plus “Isn’t She Country,” “Buzzin,” and current chart-climbing single “Wrong Hearts.”
“NASCAR and country music go hand and hand,” said LOCASH’s Chris Lucas. “We have always been fans and are fired up about playing the Coke Zero Sugar 400 pre-race. Let’s light it up!”
LOCASH’s Preston Brust added, “NASCAR, LOCASH, country music, Coke Zero Sugar = 400 laps of loud and crazy🔥!”
Outside of their new album, they already have a hit-stacked catalog including nine chart-climbing singles, such as their 2015 PLATINUM breakout “I Love This Life” and GOLD No. 1s “One Big Country Song” and “I Know Somebody,” racking up over one billion global streams.
Brust and Lucas also own their own record label, Galaxy Label Group, allowing them to maintain complete creative control over their music and mentor a new generation of like-minded stars.
Over the past few years, LOCASH has had several notable performances and collaborations. In 2024, they teamed up with Monster Jam to create their own limited-edition die-cast truck and played stadiums all over the country to support Kane Brown’s tour. In 2025, they headlined several shows and had major festival stops. In recent years, they’ve also made high-profile national TV appearances on Live with Kelly & Mark, Good Morning America, ABC News, CBS Mornings Plus, Fox & Friends, and more. Now, the duo will be able to add The World Center of Racing to their long list of impressive venues.
The Coke Zero Sugar 400 will be an intense night of racing as the Cup Series drivers set the field for The Chase. Last year, Ryan Blaney claimed the checkered flag of the August race at DAYTONA, marking his second Coke Zero Sugar 400 victory.
Reigning DAYTONA 500 Champion Tyler Reddick will be fighting to sweep the races at DAYTONA after his victory in February. If Reddick ends up in Victory Lane, he will be joining elite company as only the sixth driver to win both DAYTONA races in the same season. Jimmie Johnson was the last driver who saw success twice in one year at The World Center of Racing, winning both races in 2013.
The Hard Rock Bet Fanzone add-on and Pre-Race Access Pass will give you the best spot in the house to watch LOCASH’s performance and enjoy the race weekend. Fans who have already purchased tickets still have time to add to their experience for an unforgettable weekend at The World Center of Racing.
The race weekend will feature the regular season finales for the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, with action kicking off on Friday, August 28th, at 7:30p.m. ET with the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series taking the track. Then on Saturday, August 29th, LOCASH will rock the infield before the NASCAR Cup Series stars battle in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at 7:30 p.m. ET for the final opportunity to earn their spot in The Chase.
