Post-race inspection is complete following the 2026 Toyota / Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway.
There were no issues for #97-Shane Van Gisbergen. He is officially the winner of the race.
van Gisbergen started the race in sixth and stayed near the front of the field all day. He flipped the stages by pitting just before the end of the first two. He took the lead for the final time with 22 laps remaining and held off several hard charges by Briscoe to win by just .3 second.
The Cup Series now returns to Chicagoland Speedway for a Sunday evening race.
