NASCAR today announced that UChicago Medicine AdventHealth has been named the Official Healthcare Provider of Chicagoland Speedway, bringing one of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations to the historic return of NASCAR racing in Joliet during Independence Day weekend.
As the Official Healthcare Provider, UChicago Medicine AdventHealth will support race weekend through comprehensive medical services for fans, competitors, officials and industry personnel while also engaging guests through health and wellness initiatives designed to enhance the overall event experience.
“We’re proud to welcome UChicago Medicine AdventHealth to the Chicagoland Speedway family as we prepare to usher in a new era of racing at this iconic venue,” said Jacqueline Herrera, General Manager of Chicagoland Speedway. “UChicago Medicine AdventHealth shares our commitment to providing a first-class experience, and we’re excited to partner with an organization that prioritizes the health, safety and well-being of everyone who walks through our gates.”
The partnership further expands AdventHealth’s growing presence across NASCAR, building on the organization’s longstanding commitment to serving race fans and communities through innovative healthcare experiences at premier sporting events.
“We’re thrilled to welcome NASCAR’s return to Joliet and ready to show our support for Erik Jones and the No. 43 UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Toyota Camry XSE,” said Dr. Monica Reed, president and CEO of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth. “As the official healthcare provider of Chicagoland Speedway, this exciting weekend of racing is an opportunity to provide world-class care for those who may need it and another way for us to deliver on our promise of whole-person care to ensure the health and well-being of the communities we serve.”
In addition to serving as the Official Healthcare Provider, UChicago Medicine AdventHealth will receive prominent branding throughout Chicagoland Speedway and engage fans with interactive activations that promote healthy living and wellness throughout race weekend.
The partnership comes as Chicagoland Speedway prepares to host its first NASCAR national series events since 2019, with a three-day Independence Day weekend celebration featuring the ARCA Menards Series on Friday, the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series on Saturday and the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday, July 5. The event also serves as part of the nationwide America250 celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
