With continued bad weather late into Friday evening at the Richmond Raceway, NASCAR was forced to postpone the scheduled Black’s Tire 250 presented by BTS Rewards NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race to noon today.
That creates a doubleheader at the .75-mile track with the NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out 400 scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (USA Network, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
Richmond Raceway parking lots and gates open at 10 a.m.
New Zealander Shane van Gisbergen will start the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet from pole position in the truck race and Ryan Blaney in the No. 12 Team Penske Ford will lead the field to green in the NASCAR Cup Series race.
