Authorities identify suspect in Biffle’s home break-in

Iredell County deputies announced charges against a suspect in the investigation of a break-in at late NASCAR driver Greg Biffle’s Mooresville home.

Investigators say Terrell Williams, 44, forced his way into Biffle’s home, stealing multiple bags, tens of thousands of dollars in cash, two Glock handguns and NASCAR memorabilia. Detectives say Williams spent several hours inside the house and knew where surveillance cameras were located. The burglary happened in early January, just weeks after the Biffle family was killed in a plane crash at Statesville Regional Airport.
