The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will return to Canada for the first time in eight years with a trip to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on tap in 2027. The race is slated for Sunday, Sept. 5, with coverage on FOX Sports. It will serve as the key regular-season finale, solidifying the 10 drivers competing in The Chase.
The Truck Series visited the 2.459-mile road course in Bowmanville, Ontario, from 2013 to 2019. NASCAR planned for another trip to the Toronto suburb in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic put the annual north-of-the-border event on pause.
