New Hampshire Cup race start time moved up to 2:00pm/et

Due to impending inclement weather, officials have announced that Sunday’s Dollar Tree 301 NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) has been moved up one hour to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23.

The remainder of the Sunday schedule is adjusted as follows:

·        7 a.m. – Parking Lots Open

·        8:30 a.m. – Ticket Booths Open

·        10 a.m. – Fan Zone, Ticket Gates, Suites and Hospitality Opens

·        11 a.m. – Trackside Live

·        11:30 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. – Fan Track Access

·        1 p.m. – The Drivers’ Meeting

·        1:25 p.m. – Driver Introductions

·        2 p.m. – “Drivers, Start Your Engines!” Command

·        2:20 p.m. – Green Flag

NCS practice and qualifying is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 22 at 10:35 a.m. and 11:40 a.m. respectively followed by the Team EJP 175 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) race at 1:30 p.m. and the Mohegan Sun 100 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) race at 4:30 p.m.
