Chad Finchum will make his first NASCAR Cup Series start at Darlington Raceway when he races the No. 66 AutoParts.com / Truan Equipment Rental Ford Mustang Dark Horse in the Cook Out Southern 500 on Sunday, September 6.
The 31-year-old pilot from Knoxville, Tennessee, while new to Cup competition at this track, has many laps driving NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series cars here. Finchum has seven starts at Darlington, including a Top 20 finish in an MBM Motorsports entry in 2020.
