Phoenix Raceway is revving up the high-octane excitement of its NASCAR Chase Weekend with the Phoenix Raceway Fan Fest powered by Freeway Insurance on Thursday, October 15. This free, family-friendly event will run from 4-7 p.m. at Heritage Square and Science Park in downtown Phoenix and serve as the official kickoff to a thrilling weekend of racing and entertainment at Phoenix Raceway, Oct. 16-18.
“Bringing the fun of NASCAR and Phoenix Raceway to downtown Phoenix is what Fan Fest is all about,” Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey said. “We’re excited to again give fans an unforgettable free preview of what’s to come at the track. I know Heritage Square and Science Park will be supercharged with excitement, making it the perfect way to launch an incredible weekend of racing.”
This marks the second straight year for Phoenix Raceway Fan Fest in downtown Phoenix. The successful inaugural event in 2025 provided an incredible foundation to make this year’s event even bigger and better. NASCAR drivers will meet and greet fans, who will also have an opportunity to see incredible show cars on display. There will also be a live DJ, musical performances, kids activities, food vendors and display booths for fans to enjoy.
The free event is part of The Valley Uncharted: The Road to Race Weekend Program which runs from Sept. 28 – Oct. 18. Fans visiting participating businesses during this period can scan a unique QR code and receive a digital badge with a one-time exclusive offer. Offers will be available only during the program period, which is designed to encourage race fans to discover and visit local businesses.
