NASCAR is embracing some of the more colorful language heard over team radios with a new “Swear Jar” promotion during The Chase.
Each time profanity is recorded over the radio, NASCAR will add $5 to a prize pool. Fans can participate by making predictions about the amount of swearing during the races, with the money accumulated through the promotion ultimately being awarded to a fan.
The promotion begins with Sunday’s Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. Fans can enter and get additional information at NASCAR’s Swear Jar website.
