Hendrick Motorsports has extended its strategic relationship with HP Inc. through the 2029 NASCAR Cup Series season, with the agreement continuing HP’s primary sponsorship of driver William Byron and the No. 24 Chevrolet for two races annually.
The three-year renewal builds on a relationship that began in October 2022 and expanded to include Byron and the No. 24 team in 2023. In addition to its primary races, HP will receive season-long branding across the No. 24 Chevrolet and the team’s fire suits, apparel and equipment.
“Our relationship with Hendrick Motorsports is built on shared values: performance, teamwork and an unwavering drive to win,” said Jim Nottingham, senior vice president and division president of Advanced Compute Solutions at HP Inc. “HP and Hendrick Motorsports showcase what’s possible when world-class talent is paired with industry-leading technology. Together, we’re driving innovation and competitive breakthroughs behind the scenes of one of the most demanding and data-driven environments in sports.”
Hendrick Motorsports utilizes a range of HP technology across its operations, highlighted by the HP Z Workstations & Solutions portfolio of high-performance mobile workstations, desktops, monitors and solutions. The technology supports the people and processes behind the competition and business operations of the 15-time NASCAR Cup Series champions.
“HP understands the demands of a high-performance organization, and we trust their technology, expertise and support,” said Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports. “William has done a terrific job as a spokesperson, representing HP the right way and delivering results on the racetrack. We also work closely together to deliver wins for their business. That teamwork has made this a strong partnership, and we’re proud to continue it through 2029.”
The relationship with Byron began in 2023. The Charlotte, North Carolina, native has driven the iconic No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports since 2018 and qualified for NASCAR’s postseason, now known as the Chase, every year since the HP partnership expanded to the No. 24 team. Byron won consecutive DAYTONA 500s in 2024 and 2025 and claimed the 2025 Cup Series regular-season championship.
“Since HP joined the No. 24 team, we’ve won two DAYTONA 500s and a regular-season championship,” Byron said. “They’ve been part of some of the biggest moments of my career, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together. We’re delivering on the track and creating value for their business. That’s what great partnerships do, and we want to keep building on our success.”
