Starting today, the voting period for the Trioval Grass Design for the 2027 DAYTONA 500 has begun. This serves as the twelfth consecutive year fans can cast their vote for their favorite Trioval Grass Design to be displayed during the 69th running of The Great American Race on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2027.
Voting is open now through Wednesday, Oct. 28. Fans can submit their vote for one of the three creative designs and are encouraged to share their choice via Facebook, Instagram and X at the link here: 2027 DAYTONA 500 Trioval Grass Design – Daytona International Speedway. The unveiling of the winning design will take place in January 2027.
Fans will have three unique ballfield design options to vote on for the 2027 DAYTONA 500:
- Star-Spangled Skies
A high-flying design that brings together the power of the United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the excitement of the DAYTONA 500. With a bold center star and two jets soaring on either side of the field, this design celebrates American pride, precision, and speed!
- Racing in Motion
All gas, no brakes! This design brings the thrill of the DAYTONA 500 to life with racing energy and a whole lot of speed. It’s a high-octane celebration of The Great American Race!
- World Center of Racing
A design that celebrates the iconic Daytona International Speedway, featuring the legendary 2.5-mile oval and the home of The Great American Race. A tribute to the Speedway’s rich racing history, where speed, tradition and unforgettable moments come together!
