Shane van Gisbergen and Ross Chastain will return to JR Motorsports in 2027 to compete in select O’Reilly Auto Parts Series races, the team confirmed on Tuesday.
Van Gisbergen won two of his three road-course starts in 2026 at Circuit of The Americas and Sonoma Raceway. He placed eighth at Watkins Glen International. Chastain made five of his 10 O’Reilly starts in 2026 with JRM driving the No. 9 Chevrolet. He won a rain-shortened race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May, with additional top fives at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Iowa Speedway.
The two Trackhouse Racing drivers are added to the No. 9 car, which will also feature Tristan McKee in a partial schedule, beginning in August at Bristol Motor Speedway.
