Switches team name to Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates from Earnhardt Ganassi Racing as Teresa Earnhardt is no longer involved (1-8-2014). Cessna / Textron will return, was the sponsor for 10 races in 2013 (11-20-2013). Keith Rodden named the new crew chief (11-18-2013). Kevin “Bono” Manion, moved to the #7 TBR #7 team for the 2014 season. Supposedly Keith Rodden will move over from the #5 Hendrick Motorsports team and former crew chief, Kevin Manion, may move to another team or stay in another capacity (11-5-2013). Following the announcement of Kyle Larson as the replacement for Juan Pablo Montoya in the organization’s #42 car, team co-owner Chip Ganassi confirmed McMurray’s contract extension, confirming McMurray’s return in 2014(8-31-2013). McMurray said he and most or his sponsors will return in 2014 (8-24-2013). McMurray signed thru 2013, but is expected to return to this ride in 2014(8-13-2013). The team switched to Hendrick Motorsports for engines after 2012 season (7-9-2013)

2	Detroit Genuine Parts will be the primary sponsor for Richmond in April and Charlotte in October (4-23-2014). Wurth will be the primary sponsor for four races the first one at Auto Club Speedway (1-22-2014). Alliance Truck Parts will be the primary sponsor for 8 races in 2014, first one being at Phoenix in March (1-21-2014). Ryan Blaney will run the third Team Penske Ford, the #12, in two races; at Kansas in May and at Talladega in October (1-10-2014). Keselowski extended his contract to 2017 and sponsor Miller Lite to 2017 also, but will be the sponsor for 24 instead of 36. So the team will look for other sponsors for those 12 races (10-2-2013). Penske said on SiriusXM NASCAR radio that his team will remain a two-car full-time operation in 2014 (8-23-2013). Wolfe is signed thru 2017

3 [was 29]	Bass Pro Shops will be the primary sponsor at Talladega in May and Daytona in July (4-8-2014). Realtree and Bad Boy Buggies will be the sponsor at Bristol (Mar)(3-7-2014). Richard Childress announced that RCR will run the #3 with Austin Dillon driving in 2014. Dillon will run for Rookie of the Year. Sponsors will be Dow Chemical (16 races), Cheerios, Bass Pro Shops and American Ethanol. Gil Martin will remain as the crew chief. The team changes from #29 to #3 (12-11-2013). Jimmy John’s left and will go to the #4 Chevy with Harvick (9-24-2013). An image of the #3 Cheerios Chevy came out mid Sept and was flooded all over the internet (9-14-2013). Mark McArdle, who was director of racing operations at Richard Childress Racing as well as competition director at Furniture Row Racing, has moved to RCR full time. He will continue to report to RCR competition director Dr. Eric Warren (8-10-2013). Harvick to leave RCR after the 2013 season and moves to Stewart Haas Racing #4 Chevy in 2014 with sponsors Budweiser and Jimmy John’s.

4 [was 39]	Mobil1 will be the primary sponsor at Pocono in August (7-28-2014). Hunt Brothers Pizza sponsored the #4 at the All-Star race (4-29-2014). Jimmy John’s comes aboard to sponsor the car for 12 races, supposedly a three-year deal (9-24-2013). SHR expands to four cars in 2014, with Kurt Busch coming aboard (8-27-2013). It was announced before Bristol in August that Childers will leave the #55 MWR team after the 2013 season and be the crew chief at SHR for Harvick (8-23-2013). Harvick was announced as the driver for SHR on July 12th. and the team will switch from #39 to #4. Budweiser announced as the sponsor for 20 races plus the Sprint Showdown in Feb. Stewart said at New Hampshire that they would not expand to a 4th team and Newman would not return to SHR in 2014. Ryan Newman signed a one-year deal to return to SHR for the 2013 season and is a free-agent for 2014. Supposedly Quicken Loans could move with Newman to his new team in 2014. No word if crew chief Matt Borland will stay with SHR or go with Newman. Rodney Childers from MWR is supposedly a candidate (7-12-2013). Newman could go to the #78 Furniture Row Racing team if Kurt Busch moves to another ride or if they start a 2nd team, or to RCR to replace Harvick in the #29 or any other open ride such as EGR or Penske Racing or Roush if those teams decide to expand.

5	Valvoline becomes the oil / lubricant sponsor for Hendrick Motorsports starting in 2014, replacing Quaker State Oil (9-24-2013). Time Warner adds two races as sponsor for a total of six in 2013 and five races in both 2014 and 2015 (9-4-2013). Kahne signed thru 2015, Farmers Insurance is signed thru 2014 for 19/22 races, Quaker State signed for four races thru 2014 and Great Clips ups its deal to 10 races in 2014, Crew chief Francis is signed thru at least 2014

7	Accell Construction will be the primary sponsor in six races (2-7-2014). Kevin “Bono” Manion will be the crew chief for Annett. Manion had been the crew chief for the #1 EGR team for many years. Team owner Tommy Baldwin Jr. had been the crew chief for the team (1-22-2014). Michael Annett announced as the 2014 driver full-time in 2014, running for Rookie of the Year honors and bringing Flying J sponsorship with him. Baldwin will remain as the crew chief (11-15-2013). Some rumors had Burton coming over to one of TBR’s Chevy’s in 2014, Burton said he has not talked to any team yet (9-5-2013). No word on 2014 plans, if Blaney will return or if sponsors SANY or Florida Lottery return (7-9-2013)

9	Ambrose will leave at end of 2014 and head back to Australia, Stanley Tools will leave at end 0d 2014 and head to JGR’s #19 and #20 teams (9-17-2014). Twisted Tea signs on as an associate sponsor and will be the primary sponsor at Charlotte in May and Dover in Sept (10-29-2013). 2014 diecast images released have Ambrose back in the #9 with Stanley / DeWalt returning as the sponsor (10-6-2013). Ambrose returns in 2014 (8-31-2013).

10	Knost will take over as Patrick’s crew chief following Martinsville replacing Tony Gibson who goes to the #41 SHR team. (10-22-2014). Florida Lottery will be featured on the hood at Daytona in July and Homestead in Nov (7-1-2014). Aspen Dental will be the primary sponsor in two races: Las Vegas in March and Kansas in Oct as well as an associate sponsor in the remaining race. GoDaddy.com will be the sponsor in the rest of the 2014 races (10-18-2013). SHR expands to four cars in 2014, with Kurt Busch coming aboard (8-27-2013). Patrick is signed for a couple more years, no idea exactly how long her contract is. GoDaddy.com is signed thru 2014. Some rumors had crew chief Gibson being replaced, but they quieted down (7-9-2013)

11	Michael Wheeler was the crew chief for 6 races after Grubb was suspended for having block-off plates not sealed off at Indy. Grubb missed Pocono in August thru Richmond, returning at Chicago (9-14-2014). Hamlin developed a sinus infection while in Fontana (Auto Club Speedway) and was advised not to race. Hamlin still practiced and qualified the car, so he is eligible for the Chase. Sam Hornish, Jr. drove the #11 for him at Auto Club Speedway.(3-23-2014) Sports Clips Haircuts returns as the sponsor for two races in 2014, Darlington in April and Atlanta in August (11-18-2013). Hamlin signed a contract in 2012 to stay at least thru 2013, probably a 3-year deal and there have been no indications he is looking or in the rumor mill. All indications are that Grubb returns as the crew chief in 2014, FedEx is expected to return as the primary sponsor and Sports Clips returns for two races (7-9-2013).

13	Team switches to Chevy in 2014 after running Ford for two years, will use Earnhardt Childress Racing engines (10-1-2013). Mears and GEICO are signed thru 2014. No word on any crew chief changes as Barker and Mears have worked together for many years (7-9-2013)

14	Stewart returned to race at Atlanta in August (8-28-2014). Stewart skipped Watkins Glen, Michigan and Bristol after the sprint car accident on August 9th at a small NY track which Stewart hit driver Jeff Ward, who died (8-23-2014). Mobil 1 returns as the primary sponsor for 11 races in 2014 (12-3-2013). Chad Johnston named the crew chief (11-19-2013). Steve Addington leaves as crew chief after the season and headd to the #51 Harry Scott team (11-10-2013). Diecast images released for 2014 schemes show Bass Pro Shops, Mobil1 and Code 3 Associates returning so far in 2014 (10-6-2013). SHR expands to four cars in 2014, with Kurt Busch coming aboard (8-27-2013). Looks like Bass Pro Shops and Mobil1 return as the co-primary of the #14. No word if Rush Truck Stops return in 2014. All indications are that Steve Addington will stay on as Stewart’s crew chief. SHR will have Kevin Harvick as a new driver in 2014. The team may replace Ryan Newman with Harvick or start a 4th team if sponsorship is found, but indications are that SHR will remain a three-car team in 2014 (7-9-2013)

MWR announced extensions with Bowyer, Pattie and 5-Hour Energy, looks like it will be for three years thru 2017. 5-Hour Energy will be the primary sponsor for 24 races a season (5-5-2014). Peak will be the sponsor in three races, AAA-Mid Atlantic for two races and Charter for at the All-Star race(1-30-2014). Michael Waltrip Racing announced it will downsize to a two-car full-time team in 2014, dropping the #56 which lost NAPA sponsorship after the Richmond scandal (10-14-2013).

16	Ortho Fire Ant Killer will sponsor the car for three races in 2014 and about half of the races in 2015 (8-22-2014). 3M will leave after 2014 and sponsor #24-Jeff Gordon in 11 2015 races (8-18-2014). Fastenal will be the one race sponsor at Charlotte in May with #17-Stenhouse Jr. and #99-Edwards (5-21-2014). Biffle said at Darlington he and the team are talking about a new contract and hopes to have it done soon (4-11-2014), Biffle and sponsor 3M signed thru 2014, the Red Cross returns in 2014 for 2-3 races (7-9-2013)

17	Cargill will be a five race sponsor in 2014, first one at Daytona in July (5-22-2014). Fastenal will be the one race sponsor at Charlotte in May with #16-Biffle and #99-Edwards (5-21-2014). EcoPower will sponsor Stenhouse in “multiple” races, the first being Michigan.(3-20-2014) Mike Kelley named the crew chief, former crew chief Scott Graves will be a crew chief on the #60 RFR Nationwide series car (11-19-2013). Supposedly Best Buy will not return to sponsor the #17 or #99 in 2014 (10-29-2013). Nationwide Insurance will return in 2014 as a primary sponsor, no word how many races (10-6-2013). No word how long Stenhouse Jr. is signed for but at least thru 2014. Expect Graves to return as the crew chief. No word if the three main primary sponsors (Best Buy, Fifth Third & Zest) return in 2014

18	BUsch and M&M’sd are signed thru 2017 (8-13-2014). M&M’s was rumored to be going to a 4th JGR car with Carl Edwards, but Gibbs denied it and says M&M’s will return to the #18 in 2015 (6-20-2014). Skittles will be the sponsor at Phoenix and Bristol in March (1-30-2014). Busch and JGR extended Busch’s contract, supposedly thru the 2016 season, so no moves with the driver. No word about crew chief Rogers or how long he is signed (7-9-2013)

20	Dollar General will be the primary sponsor for 30 races starting in 2015 thru at least 2016. Kenseth extended his contract at least thru 2016. Gibbs said the team has another sponsor lined up for the remainder of the 2015 season but could not announce it at this point. Home Depot will not return in 2014 (6-28-2014). Dollar General re-signs to be the sponsor for 27 races, up from 17, in 2014. Home Depot / Husky Tools return for fewer races (12-2-2013). Kenseth is signed at least thru 2015 and crew chief Jason Ratcliff will return in 2014

22	Logano signed an extension with Team Penske, supposedly thru 2017 (9-25-2014). Autotrader.com will be the sponsor at New Hampshire in July (3-3-2014). Ryan Blaney will run the third Team Penske Ford, the #12, in two races; at Kansas in May and at Talladega in October (1-10-2014). Penske said on SiriusXM NASCAR radio that his team will remain a two-car full-time operation in 2014 (8-23-2013). No changes expected with this team for 2014 (7-9-2013). Pennzoil and Penske extended their contract, saying it was a multi-year deal, supposedly thru 2018 (1-24-2013)

23 [was 93]	Car chief Patrick Donahue took over as the crew chief at Homestead, no word if former crew chief Dave Winston is still with the team (11-15-2014). The movie Dumb and Dumber To featured on the car at Phoenix in Nov (11-6-2014). DipYourCar.com will be the sponsor at Martinsville in Oct and Homestead in Nov (10-26-2014). Dustless Blasting was the sponsor for two races (10-19-2014). Alex Bowman will drive the car full-time in 2014, running for rookie of the year. The team will change from #93 to #23 and be sponsored by Dr Pepper. Dave Winston will be the crew chief with Dale Ferguson moving to BK Racing #83 for Ryan Truex (1-20-2014). Ryan Treux will test the car at Daytona in Jan 2014. Dale Ferguson will return as the crew chief in 2014 (1-5-2014). Travis Kvapil ran the #83 in 2013 under a one-year deal. No word if he or #83 driver David Reutimann will return in 2014 (7-14-2013). Dale Ferguson took over as the crew chief at Daytona in July 2013. Mike Ford goes back to his regular job, director of competition and racing operations (7-2-2013).

24	Panasonic come aboard as a primary sponsor for two races a year thru 2016 (6-17-2014). Valvoline becomes the oil / lubricant sponsor for Hendrick Motorsports starting in 2014, replacing Quaker State Oil (9-24-2013). Looks like Gordon plans to drive at least 2-3 more years. Axalta Coating Systems re-signed with Hendrick thru 2016 and Drive to End Hunger is signed thru 2014. Crew chief Alan Gustafson is good thru 2014. Gordon is signed to a long term ‘lifetime’ deal with Hendrick, and Gordon says he plans to drive at least a couple more years (7-9-2013).

26	Axxess Pharma / TapOut Muscle Recovery will be the primary sponsor at New Hampshire in July and Phoenix in November (7-11-2014). Scorpion Window Film was the sponsor at Daytona in July (7-3-2014). Iowa Chop House was the sponsor at Kansas in May (5-10-2014). Speed Stick Gear added more races to its sponsorship, will be the sponsor at Sprint Showdown in Charlotte, Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte, Michigan in June , Indy in August, Bristol in August, Texas and Homestead in November (5-20-2014). Swan Racing announced it has restructured the company by finding solutions for the #26 and #30 teams in an attempt to save the jobs of the crews, the drivers, and to keep those teams competing throughout the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. As a result, Anthony Marlowe has merged his ownership of the #26 team into BK Racing [#23 & #93], effective immediately. Cole Whitt will remain behind the wheel of the #26. The #30 team has been sold to John Cohen of XxxTreme Motorsports [#44 Chevy], which will operate the team going forward and intends to compete with veteran driver J.J. Yeley. Stephen “Bones” Lane will serve as crew chief and be joined by several other former Swan Racing crew members. Driver Parker Kligerman remains under contract with Swan Racing, which will seek to identify options for him to get back on track (4-23-2014). Swan Racing announced that “Swan Racing is in the process of reviewing its current situation and the ability to continue to compete in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The team has been unable to secure the kind of sponsorship required to effectively operate the team. As a result, the team management is exploring every available option. We hope to be in position to provide a detailed update in the near future (4-17-2014). Swan Racing announced that Whitt will run the #26 and the crew chief will be Randy Cox will be his crew chief. Parker Kligerman will be in the #30 Swan Racing Toyota (1-7-2014). Swan Racing announced it will expand to a multi-car team in 2014 and run Parker Kligerman and Cole Whitt in Toyota Camrys. Both will compete for 2014 Rookie of the Year honors. The team will announce car numbers and crew chiefs at a later date. MWR changes car number from #56 to #66 and announced that Jeff Burton will drive a part time schedule in 2014, starting at Las Vegas in March. Michael Waltrip Racing announced it will downsize to a two-car full-time team in 2014, dropping the #56 which lost NAPA sponsorship after the Richmond scandal. Truex Jr. was told he is free to look for another ride for the 2014 season and will move to the #78 Furniture Row Racing ride. Many indications are that NAPA will sit out the 2014 season and re-think it’s sponsorship deals. Waltrip is scheduled to run at least one race in the #56 in 2014, at the Daytona 500. The team will now be MWR’s R&D team and run a limited schedule (10-14-2013). Crew chief Chad Johnston asked for his release after the 2013 season (10-6-2013). After being booted out of the 2013 Chase when the other two MWR teams were found guilty of manipulating the outcome of the Richmond race by pitting to lose spots and spinning out to cause a caution, NAPA decided to rescind its sponsorship at the end of the 2013 season. Supposedly the NAPA Sponsorship will go to Stewart-Haas Racing, but no idea which team (9-9-2013). NAPA and Truex Jr. re-signed thru 2015, no word on any changes on the team in 2014. Truex Jr. will drive this car in 2014, official announcement has not been held as of Oct. 25th. All indications are that NAPA will not come with Truex Jr. and not likely to be a team sponsor in 2014(10-17-2013). Truex Jr. is rumored to this ride after MWR announced it would not run the #56 team full-time in 2014. Supposedly NAPA would not come along with Truex Jr and may site out a year as a sponsor in NASCAR (10-14-2013). Supposedly the team is turning towards a younger driver and Blaney is at the top of their list, if he can get out of his Penske contract (9-19-2013). Montoya will leave NASCAR for a full time ride in Indycars with Team Penske. No word on other drivers who may get this ride in 2014 (9-16-2013). Will stay aligned with Richard Childress Racing in 2014 (9-14-2013). Montoya visited this team on Sept 4th, no word if he will drive the car or not. Jeff Burton is a free agent but he said he has not talked to any teams yet about a 2014 ride. Ryan Newman was an early rumored driver for this ride after Busch announced he would leave at the end of the season. But all indications are that his deal is done to replace Burton in the #31 Chevy for 2014 (9-5-2013). Kurt Busch will leave after 2013 season and go to a 4th Stewart-Haas Racing Chevy. No word yet who will drive this car in 2014, Newman is the only one in the rumor mill (8-27-2013). RCR is hoping to retain its technical alliance with Furniture Row Racing. Currently FRR is weighing its options with other manufacturers since its contract with Chevy runs out at the end of 2013. Toyota has visited FRR in Denver but nothing has been formalized either way. FRR principals have put their driver selection on hold until after the manufacturer decision has been made. Indications are that Newman will head to RCR in the #29 Chevy (8-12-2013). Mark McArdle, who was director of racing operations at Richard Childress Racing as well as competition director at Furniture Row Racing, has moved to RCR full time. He will continue to report to RCR competition director Dr. Eric Warren (8-10-2013). 2004 Cup Champ Kurt ran the 2013 season for the team and could return in 2014 or Busch could move to a larger multi-car team such as Richard Childress Racing in the #29 or to Michael Waltrip in the #55 car. Swan Racing announced it has restructured the company by finding solutions for the #26 and #30 teams in an attempt to save the jobs of the crews, the drivers, and to keep those teams competing throughout the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. As a result, Anthony Marlowe has merged his ownership of the #26 team into BK Racing [#23 & #93], effective immediately. Cole Whitt will remain behind the wheel of the #26. The #30 team has been sold to John Cohen of XxxTreme Motorsports [was the #44 Chevy], which will operate the team going forward and intends to compete with veteran driver J.J. Yeley. Stephen “Bones” Lane will serve as crew chief and be joined by several other former Swan Racing crew members. Driver Parker Kligerman remains under contract with Swan Racing, which will seek to identify options for him to get back on track (4-23-2014). Swan Racing announced that “Swan Racing is in the process of reviewing its current situation and the ability to continue to compete in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The team has been unable to secure the kind of sponsorship required to effectively operate the team. As a result, the team management is exploring every available option. We hope to be in position to provide a detailed update in the near future (4-17-2014). Swan Racing was the #26 Toyota with Cole Whitt and #30-Parker Kligerman. The #93 team could run a part-time schedule in 2014, no driver named (1-20-2014). Alex Bowman will drive the #23 car full-time in 2014, running for rookie of the year. The team will change from #93 to #23 and be sponsored by Dr Pepper. Dave Winston will be the crew chief with Dale Ferguson moving to BK Racing #83 for Ryan Truex (1-20-2014). Ryan Treux will test the car at Daytona in Jan 2014. Dale Ferguson will return as the crew chief in 2014 (1-5-2014). Travis Kvapil ran the #83 in 2013 under a one-year deal. No word if he or #83 driver David Reutimann will return in 2014 (7-14-2013). Dale Ferguson took over as the crew chief at Daytona in July 2013. Mike Ford goes back to his regular job, director of competition and racing operations (7-2-2013).

Keselowski has his own team for 2014, the #92 Ford and GoGreen Racing merged with the #32 FAS Lane Racing team to become the #32 Go Fas Racing team for 2014. No word what Hamilton-Means Racing plans are, if any (1-10-2014). GoGreen Racing tested a #52 Ford at Charlotte in December with Jeffrey Earnhardt. No word on plans for the team. Looks like Brian Keselowski will switch to a different car number like #92 or #29 and run a limited schedule in a Ford (12-15-2013). Ran a hand full of races in 2013 as some sort of a collaboration between HMR / GoGreen Racing / Brian Keselowski Motorsports. Paulie Harraka ran the car at Sonoma as part of GoGreen Racing. Morgan Shepherd ran the car as part of Brian Keselowski Motorsports (7-12-2013).
