Kevin Harvick breaks 65-race drought with NASCAR Cup win at Michigan: On a blustery Sunday in the Irish Hills of Michigan, Kevin Harvick saved his season. Grabbing the lead and pulling away after a restart on Lap 166 of 200 at Michigan International Speedway, Harvick won the FireKeepeers Casino 400 by 2.903 seconds over pole winner Bubba Wallace and leap-frogged bubble-riding Martin Truex Jr. in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoff standings.[Read More](8-7-2022)

#4-Kevin Harvick won the FireKeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway. The win is his 1st win of the year, 6th at Michigan International Speedway and 59th career win.
Pole winner #23-Wallace finished 2nd followed by #11-Hamlin, #22-Logano, #12-Blaney, #19-Truex, Jr., #5-Larson, #43-Jones, #48-Bowman, and #45-Gibbs.
Harvick took the lead with 35 laps to go when he stayed out under caution and never relinquished the lead.  He pulled away to win by nearly 3 seconds.
The start was delayed by more than an hour for rain. The race went green at 4:33pm/et.
