Dale Earnhardt announced today that Dale Earnhardt, Inc. will be expanding its motorsports program with the addition of a third Cup team in 2001. The newest DEI entry will be driven by Winston Cup veteran Michael Waltrip while carrying the blue and gold of NAPA AUTO

#1-Steve Park wins his first Winston Cup race by dominating the Global Crossing @ The Glen and holding off #6-Mark Martin and breaking Jeff Gordon's road course streak at six. Park wins in his 77th Winston Cup start. Not sure, but I think it is the first win by a Pennzoil
