#51-Martin Truex Jr. won the Pinty’s Dirt Truck Race NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway Monday afternoon in dominating fashion. In just his third career start, and first since 2006, this is Truex’s first series victory. Toyota has now won the first five races of the season.
#99-Ben Rhodes finished second, followed by #24-Rapheal Lessard, #38-Todd Gilliland and #04-Chase Briscoe. #98-Grant Enfinger, #21-Zane Smith, #75-Parker Kligerman, #16-Austin Hill and #22-Austin Wayne Self rounded out the top 10.
Truex swept all three stages, breaking a streak of seven consecutive drivers who failed to win the final stage after winning the first two.
There were 11 lead changes among six drivers and 12 cautions for 54 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was 41.096mph.

Due to overnight weather and forecast, the Sullivan Co. flood warnings and safety concerns, NASCAR has postponed all of Sunday’s on-track activity.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt will now take place on Monday at Noon ET on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
The NASCAR Cup Series Food City Dirt Race will now take place on Monday at 4 p.m. ET on FOX, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
Rain knocked out the qualifying heats and the Camping World Truck race scheduled for Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway. The Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt is now scheduled for Sunday night at 9:00pm/et following the Cup Series race. It will be aired on FS2.
#4-John Hunter Nemechek will lead the field to green. #16-Austin Hill, #2-Sheldon Creed, #88-Matt Crafton, #13-Johnny Sauter, #21-Zane Smith, #52-Stewart Friesen, #98-Grant Enfinger, #99-Ben Rhodes, and #45-Brett Moffitt will be the top-10.
#83-Trevor Collins, #62-Jessica Friesen, and #39 Ryan Newman missed the race. #3-JR Heffner withdrew prior to the scheduled qualifying heats.

2021 Pinty’s Dirt Truck Race at Bristol Motor Speedway TRUCKS TandemDraft Stats
NASCAR announces dirt race format:
- Heat Race Starting Lineup – Random draw determines heat race designation and starting position for the heat race. The draw will be in order of current owner points.
- Qualifying Heat Races – Four qualifying races held at 15 laps each with only green flag laps counted – no overtime rule. Free pass and wave around procedures will be in effect.
- Passing Points – Drivers will accumulate points in the heat races based on finishing position and passing points. The points total determines the starting position for the feature event.
- Passing Points = The difference between assigned starting position and finishing position
- Go forward – accumulate passing points
- Go backward or finish where you started – zero passing points
- Tiebreaker – Owner Points

- Feature – Lineup based on combined points of Heat Race finishing position and passing points. Feature race will be 250 laps (NCWTS: 150 laps) divided into three stages (NCS: 75/150/250) / (NCWTS: 40/90/150). Running order will be frozen at the conclusion of each stage. During the stage breaks, teams can change tires, add fuel and make adjustments to their cars/trucks. These non-competitive pit stops must be completed in a time designated by NASCAR (TBD). No fuel or tires except at stage breaks. (Note: Teams will not be required to pit during the stage breaks. Teams that elect not to pit will re-start ahead of teams that pitted. Re-start order determined by the freeze at the conclusion of the preceding stage)
- Additional Event Highlights – Choose rule will not be in effect for the Bristol Dirt race. The overtime rules, free pass and wave around procedures will be in effect.
