Ryan Preece holds off Zane Smith to defend NASCAR Truck Series win at Nashville: His tires chattering with age over the final few laps, Ryan Preece held off charging Zane Smith and Carson Hocevar to win Friday night’s Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. The victory was the second straight for David Gilliland Racing, after Todd Gilliland won last Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on dirt at Knoxville Raceway in the No. 17 Ford, the same number Preece drove on Friday.(Read More)(6-24-2022)

#17-Ryan Preece won the Rackley Roofing 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway Friday night. The win is his first of the season, second at Nashville and the second of his career.
#38-Zane Smtih was second, followed by #42-Carson Hocevar, #66-Ty Majeski, #52-Stewart Friesen, #98-Christian Eckes, #16-Tyler Ankrum, #22-Max Gutierrez, #4-John Hunter Nemechek, and #88-Matt Crafton were the remainder of the top-10.
Preece started from the pole, won stage 2, and led 74 laps.
#38-Smith won the opening stage.
There were seven lead changes among four drivers and eight cautions for 43 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 102.717mph.
