Kyle Busch Cruises to Victory in Inaugural Xfinity Race at COTA: Kyle Busch essentially went to school Saturday afternoon in the NASCAR Xfinity Series to learn the Circuit of the Americas road course in preparation for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race there. The result, however, was that Busch absolutely schooled the field – earning an 11-second victory in the Pit Boss 250, NASCAR’s Xfinity Series debut on the famed Austin circuit. #54-Kyle Busch won the inaugural Xfinity Series race at Circuit of the Americas. The win is his 98th win of his career (series all-time wins leader).
#16-AJ Allmendinger finished second, with #7-Justin Allgaier, #5-Kevin Harvick and #22-Austin Cindric rounding out the top five.
#20-Harrison Burton, #17-Cole Custer, #31-Tyler Reddick (first start for Jordan Anderson Racing), #11-Justin Haley and #10-Jeb Burton made up the rest of the top 10.
Kaulig Racing teammates Allmendinger and Haley swept the first two stages.
There were six lead changes among five drivers and four cautions for seven yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 72.723 mph.
