In commanding fashion, #19-Ty Gibbs won the Pennzoil 150 Xfinity Series Season race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course. It’s his first win of the season in seven starts and his fourth career triumph on a road course.
#1-Sam Mayer finished second, picking up his third top-two finish in the last four races. Polesitter #10-AJ Allmendinger fell to third after sweeping the first two stages. #21-Austin Hill and #7-Justin Allgaier rounded out the top five.
#00-Cole Custer overcame a spin to finish sixth. #48-Parker Kligerman made a late charge to finish seventh, though spent the majority of the second stage one lap down. #2-Sheldon Creed finished eighth, as #26-Kaz Grala and #25-Brett Moffitt made up the top 10.
There were 10 lead changes among eight drivers and three cautions for nine yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was 77.174 mph.
