While leading the most laps, #22-Austin Cindric cruised to the win in Saturday’s Xfinity Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. It’s Cindric’s fifth victory of the season and fifth career road course victory; tying the record for most wins on a road course, with AJ Allmendinger and Marcos Ambrose.
After winning the second stage, #16-AJ Allmendinger finished second. #11-Justin Haley placed third, despite winning the opening stage. #1-Chase Elliott and #9-Noah Gragson round out the top five.
#23-Austin Dillon, #2-Myatt Snider, #98-Riley Herbst, #20-Harrison Burton and #78-Andy Lally made up the rest of the top 10.
There were eight lead changes among five drivers and five cautions for 15 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 73.825 mph.
