Sinica Motorsports Cup plans still not known: Sinica Motorsports attempted the Homestead-Miami Speedway's Cup race in November, missing the show with Grant Enfinger in the #93. At the time, the team said it planned to run the full 2012 schedule, but has not made an attempt so far. Enfinger parted ways with the team and SM ceded its #93 to the even-newer BK Racing team. The team still has not announced when it will debut and there is no Sprint Cup information on its site, though their website does list that they own the #84 Sprint Cup Chevy. The team is running in the ARCA Series with driver Brian Keselowski, the elder brother to Brad, who has raced off and on in recent years for his own race team.(WSB Radio)(3-8-2012)

Sinica Motorsports has teamed with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Series driver Grant Enfinger to compete in the #93 Chevy Impala for 10 to 15 races. Allen Wellman will serve as crew chief for the new team, which hopes to run at least one event this year out of its shop in Monroe, N.C. Sinica Motorsports, owned by George Sinica, has acquired race cars from Richard Childress Racing and may use either an Earnhardt Ganassi Racing or RCR engine. "This is a dream come true for me," said Enfinger. "I have not raced at this caliber yet but am looking forward to the challenge. This is something I have been working for all my life. I can't say enough about everybody here at Sinica Motorsports for giving me this opportunity. I feel like there are big things around the corner."
