Per the Winston Cup Scene: Ford Motor Company denied rumors at NHIS that the company would withdraw from the Craftsman Truck Series and reduce it’s support on the Winston Cup circuit in 1998. Ford plans to continue the programs presently in place with no reduction of teams on the WC circuit(bye-bye rumors of Ford supporting only 7 teams in 1998?)(7-17-97)
