From a few John Deere employees: While the rumor that Roush is buying the 97 team may be true, I would really really doubt you will ever see John Deere sponsorship on a Ford. Ford is a competitor of John Deere in many product segments such as lawn equipment and construction equipment. So if Roush does buy the 97 team, it will be a Pontiac as long as John Deere is on the hood. Chad Little and Deere have signed a contract for next year(thanks guys) makes sense(7-17-97)
