More on the John Deere?Ford/Pontiac/Little/Roush rumor: From a John Deere employee: “Ford DOES NOT manufacture any construction equipment or lawn equipment any more. When they sold the Agricultural line to FIAT as part of the New Holland name of farm equipment, the construction line was discontinued as was the lawn equipment. JD BUYS skid steer loaders from FORD and as a past sales branch field traveler the JD sales branches lease FORD’s for the field people to drive. The Pontiac/Ford aspect of this rumor is a mute point. There has been no comments made by JD on Roush, Rypien, or Chad Little. I believe this (Roush) could be the best thing to happen for Chad Little and the team since they entered into the deal with JD”(7-18-97)
