Sterling Marlin is to fly to Colorado soon to talk to Coors officials about driving for Felix Sabates next season, according to sources close to the situation. Robby Gordon currently drives Sabates’ Coors-sponsored Chevy. Marlin had little to say about his future yesterday, only that he didn’t plan to make any decision for at least a week. Some in the garage say they wouldn’t be surprised to see engine man Runt Pittman following Marlin to Sabates for what could be a reunion with crew chief Tony Glover(JournalNow 7-19-97)
