Ted Musgrave said that Jack Roush is not buying the 97 team. He will do work as team consultant or team manager and build engines for them. Ted denied that the Roush cars are switching to Pontiac and he said the 97 will stay Pontiac. He said they are putting together a limited BGN schedule for him next year, similar to Mark Martin and Jeff Burton’s. The car will be a Roush Pontiac though. He said they are about to sign a sponsor, but could not say what it was. Sure sounds like he will be back with Roush(matt 7-18-97)
