NASCAR fined Rusty Wallace $5,000 Thursday for comments he made after the Hanes 500 at Martinsville, Va. Wallace vented his frustration about NASCAR’s ruling in several postrace interviews. NASCAR said Wallace was being fined because he used profane language in a live interview on a nationally syndicated radio broadcast shortly after getting out of his car.
