Ron Barfield will drive the #35 Ortho Lawn & Garden Products Chevrolet in 1998 in a one-year deal. Any NASCAR Busch Series program Barfield would do in 1998 would be independent of Bill Elliott’s race team which he ran in this year. Wayne Anderson signed a three-year deal and will replace departing driver Kenny Irwin in the No. 84 Liberty Racing Ford, which will be sponsored in 1998 by Porter-Cable Power Tools.
