Update: Was looking through the National Speed Sport News(NSSN) and there is a story by Stan Creekmore called “What’s ‘In the Best Interest of the Sport'”. A good story where Stan explains the Billy Standridge engine controversy and even mentions this site and the web address. Stan has emailed me a copy and given me permission to link the story to a webpage I have made for it. The story was in the latest edition of the NSSN dated 11-12-97.
