From the Ricky Craven site, part of a press release: “While the Budweiser Chevy will change next year to No. 50 to commemorate NASCAR’s 50th Anniversary of racing excellence, Ricky Craven, driver of Budweiser’s No. 25, will remain behind the wheel of the newly numbered car. The No. 50 design imprinted on Budweiser’s car next year is a direct lift from NASCAR’s 50th Anniversary logo.” So take it for what it is worth, I am hunting down the Craven out of the Bud car rumor with all my sources, like I have said before, I doubt this rumor and it doesn’t seem to make sense to me, take the report with a grain of salt until I can find out more(11-21-97)
