It’s Official: Jack Roush and Cheerio’s made the formal announcement today, that Cheerio’s will sponsor the #26 Ford Taurus featuring Johnny Benson, Jr. driving and and Steve Hmiel was named Benson’s crew chief. The No. 26 car features Cheerios in black print emblazoned on a Cheerios Yellow Ford Taurus. Other General Mills decals like Betty Crocker’s Spoon, Pop Secret Popcorn’s logo and the Hamburger Helper Hand are also featured prominently on the car body.(NASCAR Fans and Phatman/AOL)(1-13-98)
