T. Wayne Robertson’s funeral arrangements are as follows: From 6-9 p.m. on Friday, there will be a viewing at the Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home at 3315 Silas Creek Blvd. in Winston-Salem, NC. On Saturday at 2 pm, the funeral will be held in the chapel at Wake Forest University(It’s large enough to accommodate the huge crowd they anticipate). Burial will be at Westlawn Gardens in Clemmons, NC. His pall-bearers will include Ralph Seagraves, former exec of RJR, Marty Tharpe (owner of SPEVCO – the promotional arm of Winston, and Junior Johnson – among other close family friends. Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Dana, and two children, Toby and Kim. The family requests that memorials be sent to the Foundation Fighting Blindness, 11350 McCormick Road, Executive Plaza #1, Suite 800, Hunt Valley, Md. 21031-1014. Robertson was among seven people on a 28-foot boat that collided with a 110-foot oil rig crew boat near the intercostal waterway in Vermilion Parish, La.
