In celebration of NASCAR’s 50th Anniversary, Melling and the Cartoon Network will be sporting a “birthday cake” look at the Winston Open. The #9 Taurus will be painted pink and blue and feature the Cartoon Networks most notable charactures cavorting in “splattered” birthday cake and icing. The car will run through the Southern 500 on Labor Day weekend.(5-7-98)
