In an almost eerie coincidence in light of what happened to Harry Gant, Junior Johnson, legendary driver and team owner, escaped serious injury in a nasty highway traffic accident April 21st. Johnson was a passenger in a pick up truck that pulled into the path of an oncoming car. The impact was severe enough the truck Junior was riding in rolled over, and wound up on it’s side. Thankfully no one was injured in the wreck.(WC Scene)(5-8-98)
