UPDATE: A few readers have emailed me saying that per Michael Waltrip on the John Boy and Billy radio show – The Big Show this morning that Waltrip will not be in the #21 Citgo Ford in 1999 and that Waltrip the Wood Brothers decided to tear up there letter of intent he signed a few weeks ago. Supposedly there will be a Press Release this afternoon. – It is now mentioned on NASCAR Online and GoRacing has a story at: Michael Waltrip Will Leave The #21 At Season’s End and another story at TNN Motorsports . Waltrip is currently looking at opportunities for next season. In addition the Wood Brothers have not decided on who will drive the CITGO Ford next year.(not to mention the 2nd Wood Bros/Roush car that they will run in 1999, supposedly with Matt Kenseth behind the wheel) (08-18-1998)
