NASCAR Racing News: Homestead – Musgrave and Mock

UPDATE: another rumor crushed into oblivian: Not sure what to make of this, but I have heard from two sources that Ted Musgrave would drive for Butch Mock, owner of the #75 Remington Ford team, in 1999. NO IDEA if this means Mock will go to a two car team or if Rick Mast is leaving.(9-22-98) — In part form GoRacing: The rumor mill, a little short on fodder, stopped by the #75 Remington Arms Ford for a little game of lets see if there’s any weakness. Car owner Butch Mock, who sits 35th in car owner points, admits to having had a serious talk with Mast while at Richmond. But as Mock is ready to point out he’s got commitments. Mock, when asked about the possibility of letting Mast go in favor of another driver said he has another year on his contract with Rick Mast, is fairly happy with Mast and has a commitment and can’t sign another driver for another year for the #75. But was willing to let him out of his contract if a big team like Hendrick or Yates offered him a ride.
