The 1999 preview was the 7th annual, and the first held in the Metro Trade Center. It was presented by the Ladies’ Association for the third consecutive year. According to Ladies’ Association director Julie Markham, 37 drivers attended the event, with at least 600 fans – and probably more – there to see them. The crowds began appearing at noon, even though driver autographs did not start until 5pm(NASCAR Online)(1-16-1999)
