Blue Ridge Motorsports officials announced two new sponsors for the #01 Phil Morris BGN team. Dick Myers Chevrolet of Elkton, Va. came aboard as an associate sponsor for the remainder of the season. The full-service Chevy dealer has provided a 15-passenger team van and monetary backing to become part of the Blue Ridge Team. Team manager Dana Dorman announced that a Charlottesville, VA based internet shopping corporation, Value America, has joined the team in backing Morris in a one race deal at next weeks race at Richmond. The car will be painted red, white and blue, the corporate colors and a rendering of the new paint scheme should be put up on their website later today. Value America will be the primary sponsor for the RIR event, but Llumar Window Film, PMI, Rus Uniforms, Charlottesville Auto Body Paint and Dick Myers Chevrolet will be displayed as well(Phil Morris Racing Website)(5-6-1999)
