Andy Petree will receive an honorary degree from the Nashville Auto Diesel College during driver introductions for the Coca-Cola 600. It is the first time anyone has received such an honor in the 88 year history of the college. Petree earned a 98 percent average in the automotive phase but left before completing the diesel portion to join the NASCAR Winston Cup series( TNN Motorsports Site )(5-26-199)
