Premiere Motorsports has temporarily suspended operation while it searches for a new crew chief and prepares to move into its new home. The team, which fields Fords in the BGN for 1998 NASCAR Slim Jim All Pro Series champion Freddie Query, has been without a crew chief since May 16 when Walter Giles departed to pursue another opportunity. Premiere Motorsports has been operating in a small, rented facility in Mooresville, N.C., while its new, 36,000-sq. ft. shop is under construction in Pittsboro, N.C. Recently, all cars and equipment were moved from Mooresville to Pittsboro in preparation for the opening of the new shop complex – a facility which will include a motorsports theme restaurant. ?????This decision makes the most sense for us,???? team owner Steve Husketh explained. ?????While we’re looking for a new crew chief, we can prepare to move into our new home.
