Speedwords has heard that in his search for a team to buy Larry McReynolds has been approached by Felix Sabates about a relationship that would include McReynolds being named at least partial owner of a new team with full ownership coming in a specified amount of time. This of course is not the first time Sabates has tried to lure McReynolds to a different job. We also hear that this attempt is likely to be turned down as it was in the past. All indications are that McReynolds wants his own deal and will pass on a partnership, especially in light of a proposed sponsorship that is said to be very near signing. UPDATE: SPEEDWORDS hears there may be another owner with a similar offer for McReynolds, partial ownership for the first two years, it’s his team after that. this one would take Larry back to the Ford camp, something Ford would be very happy about and may be helping behind the scenes( Speedwords )
