Bobby Allison has left the #22 BGN racing team. Allison notified co-owner Dave Carroll of his resignation on Wednesday morning. After a disappointing beginning to its first season, the team, which had been known as AllCar Racing, is not planning on running again until the August race at Michigan. Jimmy Kitchens started the season as the driver but was recently replaced by Steve Grissom recently. Allsion cited a combo of things but Kitchens was one of the main reasons(in part from Alabama Online)(6-11-1999)
