I am hearing that Adam Petty tested the #45 Spree Chevy at Myrtle Beach last week with a new engine supplier. I hear the team will be switching from Fischer engines and using Rahmoc Racing engines for both Myrtle Beach and Pikes Peak with the remainder of the season to be determined(7-13-1999) – UPDATE: One source says it’s just for Myrtle Beach, another says it’s for Myrtle Beach and Pikes Peak, I guess we’ll see(7-15-1999) – UPDATE2: The switch was for Myrtle Beach only and Petty was back to using Fischer engines as Pikes Peak, also BGN teams that used Fischer engines at Pikes Peak included #36-Tim Fedewa and #66-Todd Bodine(8-5-1999)
