Hickman Motorsports has obtained additional sposorship in attempt to field an entry into the BGN for 1999 and fulltime in 2000. M and M Brokerage of Jemison Alabama has signed on as an associate sponsor for a late season attempt and full attempt in 2000. The team also has primary backing from Peco Foods new retail product; Individulal Quick Frozen Chicken products. The first paint scheme will feature the Peco IQF Boneless Breasts .The product is currently in production at its Bay Springs Mississippi Plant. Peco Foods is also in the process of redesigning an all new website www.pecofoods.com. Team owner John Hickman will also have a website up before the end of the season the address will be www.johnhickman.com. John Hickman has spent the first part of the season as a technical consultant and fill in crew member with Mark Green and the Washington Erving Motorsports Dr. Pepper #50 Team.John has worked with Mark Green since 1998 with the #37 team.The team has not signed a driver but has interviewed Steve Allison ,nephew of Bobby Allison. More than likely the driver will be a veteran Busch driver or possibly a Winston Cup regular.
