Sterling Marlin and his crew chief, Scott Eggleston, were called into the NASCAR hauler after Sunday’s race to discuss an incident between Marlin and Chad Little. Marlin was involved in an incident on pit road after the cool down lap during which he ran into the right side of Little’s car. Little had stalled on pit road after coming off the course and created a backup at the entrance to the garage area. Marlin wanted to get around Little and into the garage, and instead of waiting, hit Little’s car and then turned into the garage( That’s Racin’ ) — UPDATE – FINE: NASCAR announced that they have fined Sterling Marlin for an incident following the Frontier @ The Glen at Watkins Glen. Marlin, who drives the #40 Coors Light Chevy, and Chad Little, who drives the #97 John Deere Ford, got into a confrontation on pit road after the race in which Marlin drove into the side of Little’s car to get into the garage area. The two had made contact late in the race. Marlin was fined $5,000 for intentionally hitting another car.
