Marshal Chesrown sold #6 ReMax truck team (Rick Carelli) to the Gaughan Family owners of the Orleans, Gold Coast, Barbary Coast, Motel Casinos in Las Vegas. No idea of their plans at this time(8-25-1999) – UPDATE: Michael Gaughan, Owner of Orleans Motorsports, has announced the purchase of Chesrown Racing’s assets to expand his racing organization into new arenas. The acquisition consists of seven race trucks, one hauler, and all shop equipment retained by Chesrown Racing during it’s successful campaign in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series dating back to 1995. The race trucks and equipment have been transferred from the Chesrown Racing facility in Denver, Colorado to Gaughan’s newly-acquired 13,500 square foot shop located in the Industrial Park section of Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The team personnel and actual race plans for Orleans Motorsports have yet to be determined(Racing West Site)(9-2-1999)
