Hearing CTS driver Jack Sprague may be in the car at Richmond — UPDATE: Tyler Jet Motorsports announced Jack Sprague will handle the team’s driving chores in this weekend’s Cup race at Richmond. Sprague replaces Rich Bickle in the 10-10-345 mount, the latter parting ways with the team after the Pepsi Southern 500 at Darlington. Sprague will continue his NCTS Hendrick Motorsports duties throughout this season. TJM is currently negotiating with other drivers for remaining events on the 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup tour(Tyler Jet Motorsports PR) — UPDATE 2: Despite speculation that 10-10-345 would not be back with TJM in 2000, team sources said negotiations are currently under way with the company to return next season. The three-year sponsorship package, signed last year, called for a one-year contract with two option years.
